Our guest speaker, Mary Ann Clark, will
offer strategies for the infusion of Depth and Complexity utilizing the
Curriculum Frameworks. Also, Dr. Ben Graffam and Manny Klimis will provide training on the
new Frameworks/EP Document CD and several coordinators will share information on
their screening pilots relating to disproportionality in their gifted programs.
Dr. Susan Johnsen will provide an update on identifying underrepresented
populations. Additionally, one representative from each attending district will
receive a copy of the newly revised Special Pops Endorsement Module. If
possible, please bring your copy of the frameworks and a laptop to the
Institute.

and the Parallel Curriculum Model. The sixth grade Humanities curriculum has

As a national consultant, she provides training on curriculum development to
address rigor of instruction. The focus of her presentation for the 2008
