2010-2011 Online Endorsement Course Schedule Announced
The final schedule for the online endorsement courses for 2010-2011 is as follows:

Special Populations of Gifted Children: August 23 – October 15, 2010
Guidance and Counseling for the Gifted: October 25 –
December 17, 2010
Curriculum and Instructional Strategies for Teaching Gifted
Students: January 3- February 25, 2010
Nature and Needs of Gifted Students: March 7 – April
29, 2011
Theory and Development of Creativity for the Gifted:
May 9 – June 30, 2011
Registration for the first course, Special Populations, began July 28. Please click on the following link to connect to the registration page: http://www.nefec.org/event85/.
Registration for the subsequent courses will open several weeks prior to the beginning date. Continue to check the WOGI website for updates. Cost for each course is $240 for non-NEFEC districts and $180 for NEFEC member districts. Textbooks for each course are available for check out for a refundable security deposit. Save the Date for the 2011 WOGI Institute
The next WOGI
Institute is set for
June 2-3, 2011. Dr.
Mary Slade will present an all day session on program evaluation. This
topic is of special importance as we begin implementing the state plan.
Watch for more details later in the year.
